How We Work
Your Assessment Journey
From first contact to expert testimony, each engagement follows a structured, transparent process designed to support counsel and clients at every stage.
1 - Initial Inquiry & Suitability Review
Assess the legal issues, procedural timelines, and availability to determine whether the matter is appropriate for referral. Where helpful, a brief preliminary discussion with counsel may be recommended.
2 - Formal Referral & Retainer
Services begin upon receipt of written referral and retainer confirmation outlining scope, authorization, and terms appropriate for litigated matters.
3 - Information & Records Review
Relevant educational, employment, income, occupational, and medical records (where applicable) are reviewed to properly scope the assessment.
4 - Vocational Assessment & Analysis
The evaluation may include structured interviews, vocational testing, transferable skills analysis, and labour market research using accepted methodologies.
5 - Report Preparation
An objective report is prepared addressing the specific referral questions, summarizing findings, and presenting professional opinions.
6 - Timelines
Once retained and all required information is received, a file-specific schedule for assessment and reporting is provided.
7 - Expert Evidence, Consultation & Testimony
Services may include consultation with counsel, trial or arbitration preparation, and expert testimony where required.
8 - Fees
Fees and retainer requirements vary based on scope and complexity and are discussed directly once suitability is confirmed.
